AdS/CFT Correspondence and QCD with Quarks in Fundamental Representations
Paul H. Frampton

TL;DR
This paper explores a novel approach using AdS/CFT correspondence and asymmetric orbifolds to model non-supersymmetric QCD with quarks in fundamental representations, advancing theoretical understanding of strong interactions.
Contribution
It introduces a new method to construct non-supersymmetric QCD models with fundamental quarks via asymmetric orbifolds within the AdS/CFT framework.
Findings
Successfully models QCD with four fundamental quark flavors
Demonstrates a non-supersymmetric orbifold construction
Provides a framework for further QCD studies
Abstract
The most straightforward use of AdS/CFT correspondence gives versions of QCD where quarks are in adjoint representations. Using an asymmetric orbifold approach we obtain nonsupersymmetric QCD with four quark flavors in fundamental representations of color.
