Consistent noncommutative quantum gauge theories?
A.A.Slavnov

TL;DR
This paper introduces a new noncommutative U(1) gauge theory model that avoids infrared singularities and smoothly transitions to a free scalar field in the classical limit, with extensions to U(N) groups.
Contribution
It proposes a novel noncommutative gauge theory model invariant under U(1), free of infrared singularities, and explores its generalization to U(N) groups.
Findings
Model is free of nonintegrable infrared singularities
Classical limit describes a free scalar field
Extension to U(N) models is feasible
Abstract
A new noncommutative model invariant with respect to U(1) gauge group is proposed. The model is free of nonintegrable infrared singularities. Its commutative classical limit describes a free scalar field. Generalization to U(N) models is also considered.
