Lienard-Wiechert Potentials in Even Dimensions
Metin Gurses (Bilkent University), Ozgur Sarioglu (METU)

TL;DR
This paper derives the Lienard-Wiechert potentials for point charges in even-dimensional Minkowski space-time and demonstrates that particles radiate energy when accelerated, extending classical electromagnetic theory to higher dimensions.
Contribution
It provides a systematic derivation of potentials for massless scalar and Maxwell fields in even dimensions and analyzes energy loss due to acceleration.
Findings
Particles lose energy through radiation in all even dimensions.
Derived explicit forms of potentials for scalar and electromagnetic fields.
Extended classical radiation theory to higher even-dimensional space-times.
Abstract
The motion of point charged particles is considered in an even dimensional Minkowski space-time. The potential functions corresponding to the massless scalar and the Maxwell fields are derived algorithmically. It is shown that in all even dimensions particles lose energy due to acceleration.
