Newton's law in de Sitter brane
Kazuo Ghoroku, Akihiro Nakamura, Masanobu Yahiro

TL;DR
This paper evaluates Newton's potential in various higher-dimensional brane-world models, highlighting that only the AdS$_5$ bulk aligns with observed Newtonian gravity given the small cosmological constant.
Contribution
It compares Newtonian potential in dS branes embedded in different bulk spacetimes, identifying AdS$_5$ as the consistent background with observations.
Findings
Newton potential evaluated for dS branes in Minkowski, dS$_5$, and AdS$_5$ bulks.
Only AdS$_5$ bulk aligns with observed Newton's law.
Small cosmological constant constrains the viable bulk geometry.
Abstract
Newton potential has been evaluated for the case of dS brane embedded in Minkowski, dS and AdS bulks. We point out that only the AdS bulk might be consistent with the Newton's law from the brane-world viewpoint when we respect a small cosmological constant observed at present universe.
