Nonsupersymmetric multibrane solutions
Marcin P. Flak, Krzysztof A. Meissner

TL;DR
This paper investigates static, spherically symmetric solutions involving multiple intersecting branes in gravity theories with various fields, revealing a Toda-like system and a duality symmetry without relying on supersymmetry.
Contribution
It introduces a general framework for nonsupersymmetric multibrane solutions and reduces the complex system to a Toda-like form through coordinate redefinition.
Findings
Reduction to Toda-like system after coordinate transformation
Existence of a duality symmetry under r → 1/r
No assumption of supersymmetry or harmonic gauge
Abstract
Gravity coupled to an arbitrary number of antisymmetric tensors and scalar fields in arbitrary space-time dimensions is studied in a context of general, static, spherically symmetric solutions with many orthogonally intersecting branes. Neither supersymmetry nor harmonic gauge is assumed. It is shown that the system reduces to a Toda-like system after an adequate redefinition of transverse radial coordinate . Duality in the set of solutions is observed.
