Scalar Field Theory on Fuzzy S^4
Julieta Medina, Denjoe O'Connor

TL;DR
This paper investigates scalar field theories on fuzzy four-spheres, proposing a solution to remove extraneous degrees of freedom, and interprets the resulting model as a fuzzy Kaluza-Klein reduction from fuzzy CP^3 to fuzzy S^4.
Contribution
It introduces a method to eliminate unwanted degrees of freedom in scalar fields on fuzzy S^4 and connects the model to fuzzy Kaluza-Klein reduction from CP^3.
Findings
Unwanted degrees of freedom are successfully eliminated.
The theory is interpreted as a fuzzy Kaluza-Klein reduction.
A consistent scalar field theory on fuzzy S^4 is constructed.
Abstract
Scalar fields are studied on fuzzy and a solution is found for the elimination of the unwanted degrees of freedom that occur in the model. The resulting theory can be interpreted as a Kaluza-Klein reduction of CP^3 to S^4 in the fuzzy context.
