Non conformal gauge theories from D branes
Paolo Di Vecchia

TL;DR
This paper explores how fractional and wrapped D branes can model both perturbative and nonperturbative aspects of gauge theories, providing insights into their dynamics through string theory constructions.
Contribution
It introduces a framework using fractional and wrapped branes to study gauge theories' properties, bridging string theory and gauge theory dynamics.
Findings
Modeling of gauge theories using D branes
Insights into nonperturbative phenomena
Connection between string theory and gauge dynamics
Abstract
We use fractional and wrapped branes to describe perturbative and nonperturbative properties of the gauge theories living on their worldvolume. (Talk given at the 35th International Symposium Ahrenshoop on the Theory of Elementary Particles, Wernsdorf, August 26-30, 2002.)
