BRS symmetry restoration of chiral Abelian Higgs-Kibble theory in dimensional renormalization with a non-anticommuting $\gamma_5$
D. Sanchez-Ruiz (Universidad Complutense de Madrid)

TL;DR
This paper details the one-loop renormalization of the chiral Abelian Higgs-Kibble model using dimensional regularization with a non-anticommuting gamma_5, focusing on restoring BRS symmetry and calculating anomalies.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive calculation of anomalous terms and counterterms needed for BRS symmetry restoration in chiral gauge theories within this regularization scheme.
Findings
Anomalous terms in Slavnov-Taylor identities are explicitly calculated.
Counterterms necessary for BRS symmetry restoration are derived.
The approach confirms anomaly cancellation conditions in the model.
Abstract
The one-loop renormalization of the abelian Higgs-Kibble model in a general 't Hooft gauge and with chiral fermions is fully worked out within dimensional renormalization scheme with a non-anticommuting . The anomalous terms introduced in the Slavnov-Taylor identities by the minimal subtraction algorithm are calculated and the asymmetric counterterms needed to restore the BRS symmetry, if the anomaly cancellation conditions are met, are computed. The computations draw heavily from regularized action principles and Algebraic Renormalization theory.
