Branes in Time-Dependent Backgrounds and AdS/CFT Correspondence
Mohsen Alishahiha, Shahrokh Parvizi

TL;DR
This paper investigates supergravity solutions involving Dp-branes in time-dependent backgrounds, exploring their decoupling from bulk gravity and potential dual descriptions of noncommutative field theories with evolving parameters.
Contribution
It introduces new supergravity solutions for Dp-branes in time-dependent orbifolds and analyzes their implications within the AdS/CFT framework, including noncommutative theories with dynamic noncommutativity.
Findings
Worldvolume theories decouple from bulk gravity for p<6.
Solutions suggest gravity duals of noncommutative field theories with time-dependent parameters.
Studied NS5-branes and M5-branes in these backgrounds.
Abstract
We study supergravity solutions of Dp-branes in the time-dependent orbifold background. We show that worldvolume theories decouple from the bulk gravity for p less than six. Along AdS/CFT correspondence, these solutions could provide the gravity description of noncommutative field theory with time-dependent noncommutative parameter. Type II NS5-brane (M5-brane) in the presence of RR n-form for n=0,..., 4 (C field) in this time-dependent background have also been studied.
