BPS preons and tensionless super-p-brane in generalized superspace
Igor A. Bandos

TL;DR
This paper explores tensionless super-p-branes in a generalized superspace as potential models for BPS preons, which are hypothesized fundamental constituents of M-theory that preserve nearly all supersymmetries.
Contribution
It introduces a model of tensionless super-p-branes in generalized superspace that could serve as a theoretical foundation for BPS preons in M-theory.
Findings
Proposes tensionless super-p-branes as BPS preon candidates
Connects extended superspace coordinates with BPS preon properties
Suggests a new framework for understanding M-theory constituents
Abstract
Tensionless super-p-branes in a generalized superspace with additional tensorial central charge coordinates may provide an extended object model for BPS preons, i.e. for the hypothetical constituents of M-theory preserving 31 of 32 supersymmetries [hep-th/0101113].
