J. Avan, H.M. Fried, Y. Gabellini

TL;DR
This paper extends the Schwinger pair production formula to more complex scenarios, broadening its applicability in quantum field theory.
Contribution
It provides novel, non-trivial generalizations of the Schwinger formula beyond the original constant field case.
Findings
New generalized formulas for pair production
Broader applicability in different field configurations
Enhanced understanding of quantum pair creation mechanisms
Abstract
We present new, non trivial generalizations of the recent Tomaras, Tsamis and Woodard extension of the original Schwinger formula for charged pair production in a constant field.
