TL;DR
This paper introduces a supersymmetric, conformally invariant string theory based solely on extrinsic curvature, which is tensionless at the classical level and requires a six-dimensional spacetime to be anomaly-free.
Contribution
It presents a novel supersymmetric extension of extrinsic curvature string theory with conformal invariance and analyzes its quantum anomaly conditions.
Findings
Classical theory is tensionless.
Quantum conformal anomaly cancels in 6 dimensions.
Supersymmetry extends the extrinsic curvature string model.
Abstract
We suggest supersymmetric extension of conformally invariant string theory which is exclusively based on extrinsic curvature action. At the classical level this is a tension-less string theory. The absence of conformal anomaly in quantum theory requires that the space-time should be 6-dimensional.
