J. Fernando Barbero G., Eduardo J. S. Villase\~nor

TL;DR
This paper investigates the possible kinetic terms for 2-form fields in four-dimensional spacetime, ensuring the energy density remains semibounded, using covariant symplectic methods to extend previous partial results.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive analysis of kinetic terms for 2-forms in 4D, generalizing earlier findings with covariant symplectic techniques.
Findings
Characterization of kinetic terms with semibounded energy
Extension of previous partial results
Use of covariant symplectic methods
Abstract
We study the general form of the possible kinetic terms for 2-form fields in four dimensions, under the restriction that they have a semibounded energy density. This is done by using covariant symplectic techniques and generalizes previous partial results in this direction.
