Classical Radiation of a Finite Number of Photons
L. Stodolsky

TL;DR
This paper discusses conditions under which a charged particle radiates a finite number of photons classically, presenting a formula for calculating this number and exploring its implications.
Contribution
It introduces a novel formula for the finite classical radiation of photons emitted by a charged particle along a prescribed path.
Findings
Derived a formula for the finite number of radiated photons.
Identified specific conditions leading to finite photon radiation.
Discussed implications for classical electrodynamics.
Abstract
Under certain conditions the number of photons radiated classically by a charged particle following a prescribed trajectory can be finite. An interesting formula for this number is presented and discussed.
