TL;DR
This paper calculates the one-loop quantum corrections to the masses of specific topological kinks in a deformed O(N) sigma model using zeta function regularization, advancing understanding of quantum effects in topological solitons.
Contribution
It introduces a method to compute quantum corrections for kinks in a deformed O(N) model, applying generalized zeta function regularization to specific kink solutions.
Findings
Quantum corrections to TK1 and TK2 kink masses computed.
Application of zeta function regularization to topological solitons.
Enhanced understanding of quantum effects in topological field theories.
Abstract
We use the generalized zeta function regularization method to compute the one-loop quantum correction to the masses of the TK1 and TK2 kinks in a deformation of the O(N) linear sigma model on the real line.
