Power-Law Inflation from the Rolling Tachyon
Alexander Feinstein

TL;DR
This paper presents an exact solution for power-law inflation driven by a rolling tachyon field with an inverse square potential, expanding understanding of tachyon cosmology and inflationary models.
Contribution
It introduces a specific inverse square potential for the tachyon field and derives exact solutions demonstrating power-law inflation, providing new analytical insights.
Findings
Power-law inflation occurs for $eta > 2\sqrt{3}/3$.
Exact solutions are constructed for the tachyon-driven universe.
The model expands the class of analytically solvable inflationary scenarios.
Abstract
Modeling the potential by an inverse square law in terms of the tachyon field () we find exact solution for spatially flat isotropic universe. We show that for the model undergoes power-law inflation. A way to construct other exact solutions is specified and exemplified.
