Confining Strings at High Temperature
M.C. Diamantini, C.A. Trugenberger

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the high-temperature behavior of confining strings aligns with large-N QCD results, validating a class of models for long-range interactions.
Contribution
It establishes the exact correspondence between confining string models at high temperature and large-N QCD outcomes for various interaction truncations.
Findings
High-temperature confining strings reproduce large-N QCD results.
Validation of string models for a broad class of long-range interaction truncations.
Exact agreement with known QCD behavior at high temperature.
Abstract
We show that the high-temperature behaviour of the recently proposed confining strings reproduces exactly the correct large-N QCD result, for a large class of truncations of the long-range interaction between surface elements.
