QCD-Like Behaviour of High-Temperature Confining Strings
M. C. Diamantini, C. A. Trugenberger

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that a recent confining string model accurately reproduces the high-temperature behavior of large-N QCD, fulfilling a key criterion for a valid string theory of confinement.
Contribution
It shows that the proposed string model correctly captures the high-temperature limit of large-N QCD, unlike previous models.
Findings
The model reproduces the correct large-N QCD high-temperature behavior.
Previous string models failed to match this key QCD property.
This supports the validity of the proposed confining string model.
Abstract
We show that, contrary to previous string models, the high-temperature behaviour of the recently proposed confining strings reproduces exactly the correct large-N QCD result, a {\it necessary} condition for any string model of confinement.
