Computation of the Chiral Anomaly in the Bulk Quantization
Thomas Klose, Sorin Marculescu

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates how bulk quantization regularizes a four-dimensional massless fermion theory and reproduces the known chiral anomaly through Ward identity evaluation.
Contribution
It introduces a bulk quantization approach to regularize and analyze chiral anomalies in gauge theories, providing a novel computational framework.
Findings
Successfully reproduces the chiral anomaly using bulk quantization
Validates the Ward identity in the regularized theory
Provides a new method for anomaly computation in gauge theories
Abstract
The bulk quantization method is used for regularizing a conventional four dimensional theory of massless fermions coupled to an external non-Abelian gauge field and for subsequently evaluating the associated Ward identity. As a result one obtains the well-known chiral anomaly.
