Testing the Maldacena conjecture with SDLCQ
U. Trittmann

TL;DR
This paper tests the Maldacena conjecture using SDLCQ, providing numerical evidence that supports the conjecture within a 10-15% margin, with implications for space-time structure and Lorentz symmetry.
Contribution
The study offers the first numerical test of the Maldacena conjecture using SDLCQ, connecting string theory and field theory with implications for fundamental symmetries.
Findings
Results are within 10-15% of expected values.
Numerical evidence supports the conjecture's validity.
Implications for space-time structure and Lorentz symmetry.
Abstract
We report on a test of the Maldacena conjecture. This string/field theory correspondence has interesting applications. When combined with Rehren's theorem, it has implications for issues concerning space-time structure and Lorentz symmetry. Our results indicate that the conjecture is correct. We are within 10-15% of the expected results, although the numerical evidence is not yet decisive.
