Ratio of Tensions from Vacuum String Field Theory
Kazumi Okuyama (EFI, U. of Chicago)

TL;DR
This paper analytically demonstrates that the ratio of the norms of sliver states in vacuum string field theory matches the D-brane tension ratio, revealing it as a twist anomaly.
Contribution
It provides an analytical proof connecting sliver state norms with D-brane tensions and identifies the ratio as a twist anomaly.
Findings
The ratio of sliver state norms equals the D-brane tension ratio.
The correct ratio emerges as a twist anomaly.
Analytical confirmation of tension ratios in vacuum string field theory.
Abstract
We show analytically that the ratio of the norm of sliver states agrees with the ratio of D-brane tensions. We find that the correct ratio appears as a twist anomaly.
