UV-IR coupling in higher derivative gravity
Bob Holdom

TL;DR
This paper explores new vacuum solutions in higher derivative gravity that demonstrate a dynamic interaction between low and high frequency modes in cosmological models with a small cosmological constant.
Contribution
It introduces novel Robertson-Walker vacuum solutions in higher derivative gravity theories, highlighting a coupling mechanism across different frequency modes.
Findings
Existence of new vacuum solutions in higher derivative gravity.
Demonstration of dynamical coupling between low and high frequency modes.
Implications for cosmological models with small cosmological constant.
Abstract
We discuss the possible existence of new generic vacuum solutions of Robertson-Walker form in higher derivative gravity theories in four dimensions. These solutions illustrate how a dynamical coupling between very low and very high frequency modes can occur when the cosmological constant is small.
