A new sequence for topological terms at any spacetime dimensions
J. Barcelos-Neto, E.C. Marino

TL;DR
This paper explores a sequence of quadratic topological terms across various spacetime dimensions, examining their roles in mass generation, statistical transmutation, and implications for bosonization.
Contribution
It introduces a new sequence of topological terms related by dimensional compactification, highlighting their properties and implications in multiple dimensions.
Findings
Topological mass generation via quadratic topological terms
Statistical transmutation across dimensions
Implications for bosonization in various spacetime dimensions
Abstract
We investigate a sequence of quadratic topological terms of the Chern-Simons type in different spacetime dimensions, related by dimensional compactification and sharing the properties of topological mass generation and statistical transmutation. The implications for bosonization in several dimensions are also analyzed.
