Non-orientable Boundary Superstring Field theory with Tachyon field
K. S. Viswanathan, Yi Yang

TL;DR
This paper applies boundary superstring field theory to unoriented open strings, calculating the Mobius strip partition function and demonstrating divergence cancellation at one-loop level.
Contribution
It introduces a method to analyze unoriented open string field theory using BSFT and explicitly computes the Mobius strip contribution.
Findings
Divergences from planar and unoriented graphs cancel at one-loop.
Partition function on the Mobius strip is explicitly calculated.
Supports consistency of unoriented open string field theory.
Abstract
We use the BSFT method to study the unoriented open string field theory (type I). The partition function on the Mobius strip is calculated. We find that, at the one-loop level, the divergence coming from planar graph and unoriented graph cancel each other as expected.
