Spacetime torsion and parity violation: a gauge invariant formulation
Biswarup Mukhopadhyaya, Soumitra SenGupta, Saurabh Sur

TL;DR
This paper develops a gauge-invariant framework for spacetime torsion that incorporates parity violation, using the Kalb-Ramond field extended with a Chern-Simons term to model electromagnetic interactions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel gauge-invariant formulation of torsion with parity violation by extending the Kalb-Ramond field with a Chern-Simons term.
Findings
Constructed a parity-violating $U(1)_{EM}$ gauge invariant theory
Extended the Kalb-Ramond field with a Chern-Simons term
Demonstrated the theoretical consistency of the model
Abstract
The possibility of parity violation through spacetime torsion has been explored in a scenario containing fields with different spins. Taking the Kalb-Ramond field as the source of torsion, an explicitly parity violating gauge invariant theory has been constructed by extending the KR field with a Chern-Simons term.
