Yoji Michishita

TL;DR
This paper constructs tachyon lump solutions representing D0-branes on SU(2) group manifolds within cubic string field theory, demonstrating their energies align well with theoretical expectations.
Contribution
It introduces a level truncation approach to find explicit tachyon lump solutions on SU(2) manifolds, advancing the understanding of D-brane configurations in string field theory.
Findings
Solutions' energies match expected D0-brane values
Level truncation effectively captures D-brane physics
Provides explicit construction of tachyon lumps on SU(2)
Abstract
We construct tachyon lump solutions of bosonic D2-branes on SU(2) group manifolds by level truncation approximation in cubic string field theory, which are regarded as D0-branes. The energies for these solutions show good agreement with the expected values.
