Michael Gutperle (Harvard), Andrew Strominger (Harvard)

TL;DR
This paper constructs and analyzes a family of flux p-brane solutions in string theory and M-theory, exploring their properties and symmetries.
Contribution
It introduces new flux p-brane solutions in string and M-theory, expanding the understanding of their geometric and physical properties.
Findings
Found a family of flux p-brane solutions with specific symmetries
Analyzed the properties and stability of these solutions
Extended known solutions in string and M-theory contexts
Abstract
A flux p-brane in D dimensions has (p+1)-dimensional Poincare invariance and a nonzero rank (D-p-1) field strength tangent to the transverse dimensions. We find a family of such solutions in string theory and M-theory and investigate their properties.
