TL;DR
This paper constructs a classical theta-deformed QED using the Seiberg-Witten map, discusses gauge-fixing options, and explores a potential non-Abelian extension to theta-deformed Yang-Mills theory.
Contribution
It introduces a classical formulation of theta-deformed QED via the Seiberg-Witten map and proposes a non-Abelian extension for theta-deformed Yang-Mills theory.
Findings
Defined a theta-deformed QED at the classical level
Discussed two gauge-fixing approaches
Presented a possible non-Abelian extension
Abstract
With the help of the Seiberg-Witten map for photons and fermions we define a theta-deformed QED at the classical level. Two possibilities of gauge-fixing are discussed. A possible non-Abelian extension for a pure theta-deformed Yang-Mills theory is also presented.
