Quantum discontinuity between zero and infinitesimal graviton mass with a Lambda term
F. A. Dilkes, M. J. Duff, James T. Liu, H. Sati

TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of massive spin-2 particles with a cosmological constant, revealing that the previously observed absence of discontinuity is only valid at tree level and reemerges at one loop.
Contribution
It demonstrates that the discontinuity in massive spin-2 theories with a Lambda term reappears beyond the tree approximation, challenging prior assumptions.
Findings
Discontinuity reappears at one loop level.
Tree approximation hides the discontinuity.
Implications for quantum gravity models.
Abstract
We show that the recently demonstrated absence of the usual discontinuity for massive spin 2 with a Lambda term is an artifact of the tree approximation, and that the discontinuity reappears at one loop.
