The Bisognano-Wichmann Theorem for Massive Theories
Jens Mund

TL;DR
This paper proves the Bisognano-Wichmann property for a broad class of massive quantum field theories, establishing the geometric action of modular groups and confirming the CPT theorem under less restrictive localization assumptions.
Contribution
It extends the Bisognano-Wichmann theorem to models with non-compact localization in spacelike cones, broadening its applicability in massive quantum field theories.
Findings
Proves the Bisognano-Wichmann property for massive models with cone localization.
Confirms CPT theorem for these models.
Shows geometric action of modular groups derived from local quantum physics principles.
Abstract
The geometric action of modular groups for wedge regions (Bisognano-Wichmann property) is derived from the principles of local quantum physics for a large class of Poincare covariant models in d=4. As a consequence, the CPT theorem holds for this class. The models must have a complete interpretation in terms of massive particles. The corresponding charges need not be localizable in compact regions: The most general case is admitted, namely localization in spacelike cones.
