Ulrich Theis

TL;DR
This paper presents an off-shell formulation of the N=2 supersymmetric nonlinear vector-tensor multiplet, introducing new interactions via gauging the central charge without coupling to a vector multiplet, and provides a new action formula.
Contribution
It offers a novel off-shell formulation of the N=2 nonlinear vector-tensor multiplet with unique gauging of the central charge and a new coupling to the linear multiplet.
Findings
Gauging the central charge without a vector multiplet is achieved.
A new action formula coupling the linear multiplet to the vector-tensor multiplet is derived.
The model extends the understanding of N=2 supersymmetric multiplets.
Abstract
We give an off-shell formulation of the N=2 supersymmetric new nonlinear vector-tensor multiplet. Interactions arise in this model as a consequence of gauging the central charge of the supersymmetry algebra, which in contrast to previous models with local central charge is achieved without a coupling to a vector multiplet. Furthermore, we present a new action formula that follows from coupling the N=2 linear multiplet to the vector-tensor multiplet.
