A note on Weyl transformations in two-dimensional dilaton gravity
Marco Cavaglia

TL;DR
This paper examines Weyl transformations in two-dimensional dilaton gravity, arguing that both classical and quantum versions of these theories are invariant under such transformations, highlighting their symmetry properties.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of Weyl invariance in 2D dilaton gravity, emphasizing its classical and quantum invariance, which was not fully established before.
Findings
Classical dilaton gravity is invariant under Weyl transformations.
Quantum dilaton gravity also exhibits Weyl invariance.
Weyl transformations preserve the form of the theory at both classical and quantum levels.
Abstract
We discuss Weyl (conformal) transformations in two-dimensional matterless dilaton gravity. We argue that both classical and quantum dilaton gravity theories are invariant under Weyl transformations.
