TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that in type IIB string theory, all BPS and non-BPS D-branes can be derived from N non-BPS D0-branes via tachyon condensation as N becomes large.
Contribution
It shows a unified framework for obtaining various D-branes from non-BPS D0-branes through tachyon condensation in the large N limit.
Findings
All BPS and non-BPS D-branes can be constructed from N non-BPS D0-branes.
Tachyon condensation is the key mechanism in this construction.
The approach works in the large N limit.
Abstract
In this paper we would like to show that from N non-BPS D0-branes in type IIB theory we can obtain all BPS and non-BPS D-branes through the tachyon condensation in the large N limit.
