Stability of the Rotating Ellipsoidal D0-brane System
Konstantin G. Savvidy, George K. Savvidy

TL;DR
This paper proves the complete classical stability of rotating ellipsoidal D0-brane configurations in string theory by analyzing fluctuation modes in the full SU(N) gauge setting, showing all eigenvalues are positive.
Contribution
It demonstrates the stability of rotating ellipsoidal membranes in string theory within the full SU(N) framework, extending previous partial results.
Findings
All fluctuation eigenvalues are positive, indicating stability.
The stability holds under arbitrary infinitesimal gauge perturbations.
The analysis confirms the solution remains close to the original over time.
Abstract
In this note we prove the complete stability of the classical fluctuation modes of the rotating ellipsoidal membrane. The analysis is carried out in the full SU(N) setting, with the conclusion that the fluctuation matrix has only positive eigenvalues. This proves that the solution will remain close to the original one for all time, under arbitrary infinitesimal perturbations of the gauge fields.
