J. Mateos Guilarte, M. de la Torre Mayado

TL;DR
This paper develops planar Quantum Electrodynamics with a magnetic field and calculates the scattering cross-length of photons by Dirac-Landau electrons, providing insights into quantum interactions in 2+1 dimensions.
Contribution
It introduces a theoretical framework for QED in 2+1 dimensions with magnetic fields and computes photon-electron scattering cross-lengths.
Findings
Derived the scattering cross-length for photons and Dirac-Landau electrons.
Provided analytical expressions for quantum scattering in 2+1 dimensions.
Enhanced understanding of quantum interactions under magnetic fields in planar systems.
Abstract
Planar Quantum Electrodynamics is developed when charged fermions are under the influence of a constant and homogeneous external magnetic field. We compute the cross-length for the scattering of optical/ultraviolet photons by Dirac-Landau electrons.
