TL;DR
This paper reviews the thermodynamics of superconformal Yang-Mills theory on a three-sphere, focusing on the confinement-deconfinement transition and determining an N-dependent phase boundary.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of the phase structure and transition boundary of super Yang-Mills theory at large N on a three-sphere, highlighting the N-dependence.
Findings
Identified the phase boundary between confined and unconfined phases.
Analyzed the thermodynamic properties of super Yang-Mills on a three-sphere.
Discussed future research directions in the phase transition study.
Abstract
We review the thermodynamics of the confined and unconfined phases of superconformal Yang-Mills at large N on a three-sphere, focussing especially on the confinement-deconfinement transition. We determine an N-dependent phase boundary and point out some directions for future work.
