Warped Compactification with an Abelian Gauge Theory
S. Hayakawa, K.-I. Izawa

TL;DR
This paper explores six-dimensional warped compactifications with an abelian gauge theory, demonstrating that a zero cosmological constant in four dimensions can be achieved without fine-tuning, even with a 3-brane background.
Contribution
It shows that regular warped compactifications with a vanishing cosmological constant are possible in six dimensions with an abelian gauge theory, avoiding fine-tuning.
Findings
Realization of zero cosmological constant in 4D
Regular metric solutions without fine tuning
Compatibility with 3-brane backgrounds
Abstract
We investigate warped compactification with an abelian gauge theory in six dimensions. The vanishing cosmological constant in four dimensions can generically be realized with a regular metric even in a 3-brane background without fine tuning of couplings.
