Chiral Superfields in IIB Supergravity
P. Heslop, P.S. Howe

TL;DR
This paper explores the structure of superfields in IIB supergravity on $AdS_5 imes S^5$, showing how they relate to boundary superconformal fields and solving associated constraints using harmonic superspace.
Contribution
It introduces a harmonic superspace formulation for $D=4,N=4$ chiral superfields derived from $D=5,N=8$ superfields in IIB supergravity on $AdS_5 imes S^5$, providing a new method to solve boundary constraints.
Findings
Superfield expansion on $S^5$ yields $D=5,N=8$ chiral superfields.
Boundary superfields obey fourth-order constraints.
Harmonic superspace provides solutions via prepotential superfields.
Abstract
The field strength superfield of IIB supergravity on is expanded in harmonics on with coefficients which are chiral superfields. On the boundary of these superfields map to chiral superfields and both sets of superfields obey additional fourth-order constraints. The constraints on the chiral fields are solved using harmonic superspace in terms of prepotential superfields which couple in a natural way to composite operator multiplets of the boundary superconformal field theory.
