TL;DR
This paper constructs supergravity duals for various light-like non-commutative field theories and little string theories, expanding the understanding of their gravitational descriptions and implications.
Contribution
It introduces new supergravity backgrounds for light-like non-commutative theories and little string theories, including ODp theories, providing a broader framework for their holographic duals.
Findings
Supergravity backgrounds closely related to zero-field configurations.
Dual descriptions for theories on Dp, M5, and NS5 branes with light-like fields.
Implications for the understanding of non-commutative and string theories.
Abstract
We construct dual supergravity descriptions of field theories and little string theories with light-like non-commutativity. The field theories are realized on the world-volume of Dp branes with light-like NS field and M5 branes with light-like field. The little string theories are realized on the world-volume of NS5 branes with light-like RR fields. The supergravity backgrounds are closely related to the backgrounds. We discuss the implications of these results. We also construct dual supergravity descriptions of ODp theories realized on the worldvolume of NS5 branes with RR backgrounds.
