On an effective action of monopoles in Abelian projections of Yang-Mills theory
Sergei V. Shabanov

TL;DR
This paper develops a path integral framework for monopoles in Abelian projections of Yang-Mills theories, demonstrating projection independence and exploring conditions for massive solitonic excitations in the effective dynamics.
Contribution
It introduces a projection-independent effective action for monopoles and discusses the potential for massive solitonic excitations within this framework.
Findings
Effective action is projection independent.
Dynamic regime allows for massive solitonic excitations.
Path integral description unifies monopole effects in Yang-Mills theories.
Abstract
A path integral description of an effective action of monopoles in Abelian projections of Yang-Mills theories is discussed and used to establish a projection independence of the effective action. A dynamic regime in which the effective dynamics may contain massive solitonic excitations is described.
