Confined Maxwell Field and Temperature Inversion Symmetry
A. C. Tort, F. C. Santos

TL;DR
This paper investigates the Casimir vacuum energy of the Maxwell field in a rectangular cavity at finite temperature, revealing an extended temperature inversion symmetry in this setup.
Contribution
It demonstrates the presence of an extended temperature inversion symmetry in the Casimir energy of a confined Maxwell field at finite temperature.
Findings
Extended temperature inversion symmetry identified.
Casimir vacuum energy evaluated for confined Maxwell field.
Symmetry persists at finite temperature in the cavity system.
Abstract
We evaluate the Casimir vacuum energy at finite temperature associated with the Maxwell field confined by a perfectly conducting rectangular cavity and show that an extended version of the temperature inversion symmetry is present in this system.
