Janos Balog, Arpad Hegedus

TL;DR
This paper recalculates the two-loop beta functions of the two-dimensional Sine-Gordon model using a two-parameter expansion, confirming previous results and enhancing understanding of its renormalization group flow.
Contribution
It provides a precise two-loop calculation of the beta functions in the Sine-Gordon model, verifying earlier findings and refining theoretical predictions.
Findings
Results agree with Amit et al. (1980)
Enhanced understanding of the model's RG flow
Refined beta function calculations at two-loop level
Abstract
We recalculate the two-loop beta functions in the two-dimensional Sine-Gordon model in a two-parameter expansion around the asymptotically free point. Our results agree with those of Amit et al., J. Phys. A13 (1980) 585.
