Dilatonic Randall-Sundrum Theory and renormalisation group
Cesar Gomez, Bert Janssen, Pedro Silva

TL;DR
This paper extends Randall-Sundrum models to include non-conformal metrics with a dynamic dilaton, analyzing the emergence of naked singularities and the RG flow of Newton's constant.
Contribution
It introduces a framework for non-conformal Randall-Sundrum models with a varying dilaton, exploring their geometric and gravitational properties.
Findings
Naked singularities can appear in non-conformal setups.
The renormalization group flow of Newton's constant is characterized.
New insights into the holographic interpretation of dilatonic backgrounds.
Abstract
We extend Randall-Sundrum dynamics to non-conformal metrics corresponding to non-constant dilaton. We study the appareance of space-time naked singularities and the renormalization group evolution of four-dimensional Newton constant.
