Induced Variational Method from Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics and the Screened Coulomb Potential
Elso Drigo Filho, Regina Maria Ricotta

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel approach combining supersymmetric quantum mechanics with the variational method to analyze the screened Coulomb potential, providing a new technique for calculating energy eigenvalues.
Contribution
It develops a supersymmetric quantum mechanics-based trial wave function for the variational method applied to the screened Coulomb potential, enhancing computational accuracy.
Findings
Numerical results closely match exact energy eigenvalues.
The method improves upon traditional variational approaches.
The approach is effective for analyzing screened Coulomb interactions.
Abstract
The formalism of Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics supplies a trial wave function to be used in the Variational Method. The screened Coulomb potential is analysed within this approach. Numerical and exact results for energy eigenvalues are compared.
