Nathan Berkovits (IFT/UNESP, Sao Paulo)

TL;DR
This paper presents a covariant quantization method for superstrings using pure spinors, constructing massless vertex operators, computing scattering amplitudes, and formulating sigma models in curved backgrounds like AdS5×S5.
Contribution
It introduces a super-Poincaré covariant quantization framework for superstrings with explicit vertex operators and sigma models in curved backgrounds, including Ramond-Ramond flux.
Findings
Massless vertex operators constructed in a covariant manner
Scattering amplitudes computed explicitly
Sigma model actions formulated for curved backgrounds
Abstract
Using pure spinors, the superstring is covariantly quantized. For the first time, massless vertex operators are constructed and scattering amplitudes are computed in a manifestly ten-dimensional super-Poincar\'e covariant manner. Quantizable non-linear sigma model actions are constructed for the superstring in curved backgrounds, including the background with Ramond-Ramond flux.
