Gravity and the Newtonian limit in the Randall-Sundrum model
Rainer Dick, Dzo Mikulovic

TL;DR
This paper revises the gravitational equations in the Randall-Sundrum model, revealing a new form that ensures a correct Newtonian limit, thereby clarifying the model's gravitational behavior.
Contribution
It identifies a previously overlooked form of the gravitational evolution equations leading to a proper Newtonian limit in the Randall-Sundrum model.
Findings
Correct Newtonian limit achieved in the model
New form of gravitational evolution equations
Clarification of gravitational behavior in the model
Abstract
We point out that the gravitational evolution equations in the Randall-Sundrum model appear in a different form than hitherto assumed. As a consequence, the model yields a correct Newtonian limit in a novel manner.
