Higgs radiation off top-antitop pairs at future Linear Colliders: a background study
S. Moretti (RAL)

TL;DR
This paper evaluates the irreducible background processes in Higgs production via top-antitop pairs at future linear colliders, crucial for precise measurement of the Higgs-top Yukawa coupling.
Contribution
It provides an estimation of the background levels for Higgs-top associated production in the Standard Model for Higgs masses between 100 and 140 GeV.
Findings
Quantifies irreducible background sizes for specific Higgs mass range.
Assists in optimizing future collider experiments for Higgs measurements.
Supports the feasibility analysis of Higgs coupling measurements.
Abstract
The process e+e- -> Htt can be exploited at future Linear Colliders to measure the Higgs-top Yukawa coupling. In this note, we estimate the size of the irreducible backgrounds in the channel Htt -> bbbb WW -> bbbb ln qq, for the case of a Standard Model Higgs boson with mass between 100 and 140 GeV.
