$\gamma\gamma\to\pi^+\pi^-$ in the Modified Perturbative Approach
C. Vogt

TL;DR
This paper studies the process of two photons producing a pion pair at high energies, examining how including transverse momentum affects theoretical predictions, and finds limited improvement from such effects.
Contribution
It introduces a modified perturbative approach to analyze transverse momentum effects in $\
Findings
Including $k_\perp$ does not significantly improve predictions
Different approximations show limited impact of transverse momentum
The approach clarifies the role of transverse momentum in the process
Abstract
We investigate the transverse momentum effects in at moderately large total center of mass energy in the modified perturbative approach. The calculation of the differential cross section using different approximations shows that the inclusion of in the quark and gluon propagators cannot lead to a considerable improvement of the theoretical prediction.
