TL;DR
This paper explores gauge and Yukawa coupling unification in a supersymmetric model with bilinear R-Parity violation, addressing neutrino issues and improving predictions for the strong coupling constant.
Contribution
It demonstrates that bottom-tau Yukawa unification is possible at any 1tan1111, and that the model's gauge coupling predictions align better with experimental data.
Findings
Yukawa unification achievable at any 1tan1111
Predicted strong coupling constant closer to experimental value
Provides predictions for CKM matrix element V_{cb}
Abstract
In a supersymmetric model where R-Parity and lepton number are violated bilinearly in the superpotential, which can explain the solar and atmospheric neutrino problems, we study the unification of gauge and Yukawa couplings at the GUT scale. We show that bottom-tau Yukawa coupling unification can be achieved at any value of , and that the strong coupling constant prediction from unification of gauge couplings is closer to the experimental value compared with the MSSM. We also study the predictions for in a Yukawa texture ans\"atze.
