Fluctuations of string tension and transverse mass distribution
A.Bialas

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that Gaussian fluctuations in string tension can explain the thermal-like transverse mass distribution observed in particles produced from color string decay.
Contribution
It introduces a model where Gaussian fluctuations of string tension account for the thermal transverse mass distribution in particle production.
Findings
Gaussian fluctuations reproduce thermal transverse mass spectra
String tension fluctuations explain particle distribution features
Model aligns with experimental observations
Abstract
